The Big North is called for an area located between Arica from the North until Copiapo from the South. One of the most important places in this area is the Atacama Desert, San Pedro de Atacama and the Atacama Salt Pan. The Small North is an area that includes the Atacama and Coquimbo Region. Beautiful beaches such as Caldera and Bahía Inglesa, famous due to the warm and clear waters. Also cities as La Serena, Coquimbo and the Elqui Valley. All this area is famous since you can find the most clear skies in the world. That is why several astronomic observatories are located there (El Tololo, La Silla, Gemini and the Mamalluca Observatory), and you can visit during all the year, considering the warm weather you can find.

The Central Zone of Chile is the area with more population of Chile. In the Zone is located Santiago, the main city of this Country. Also other cities located in this area are: Viña del Mar, located in the Pacific coast.
