The city of Frutillar has beautiful old houses in a German style with gardens. In one of them there’s a Chilean palm tree, the most southern of the world. Frutillar experienced a strong tourist re-activation in the last two decades; the locals restored their typical houses and set up a promenade, next to the most beautiful beach in the Llanquihue Lake.
