Village of Tulor

The Village of Tulor was discovered in 1956 by the father Gustavo le Paige S.J. They are located the older habitable vestige in salt bed (it dates from between 800 BC and 500 AD), miraculously conserved to the being buried by the sand that covered ayllu and the village.

To the front he is ayllu of Coyo, to which the highway borders by the left flank (it follows the posts of electrical laying). Finally it ends at a straight way to the south, to arrive in 4, 66 mi at the Archaeological Park of Tulor, where there are a collection house, exhibition hall hygienic, services and dining room for visitors. It is administered by the Community of Coyo and CONAF. The cost of the entrance is $1.500.

The Village of Tulor was discovered in 1956 by the father Gustavo le Paige S.J. At the Village of Tulor is arrived 765,53 yards more ahead, and are located the older habitable vestige in salt bed (it dates from between 800 BC and 500 AD), miraculously conserved to the being buried by the sand that covered ayllu and the village.

In the village of Tulor and hardly excelling of the sand, a tight drawing of circles can be seen; they are of the walls of the houses, in its majority circular that show the constructive technique. 10% of the village of Tulor are discovered by excavations made in 1982 by the archaeologist Ana Maria Barone, who in 1984 also constructed the entrance to the two replicas of the house which reproduce his technique of construction. When entering them it surprises the coolness and the tenuous Inner light, so pleasant in the desert.

In the Village of Tulor there is a pedestrian footbridge, a viewpoint and exist guides of the community of Coyo who illustrate on this great archaeological park, where have been several of these villages. It is an exciting visit.
Also there are other ways to arrive at Tulor, but they are less interesting.
