Polloquere Hot Springs
Polloquere Hot springs located in the north of Chile.
Polloquere Hot springs are located next to Surire Salt Flat at 78 kms north from Colchane in the north of Chile. The area count with a rich wildlife where ñandúes, flamencos, caitíes, patos juarjual, vicuñas, alpacas y llamas can be spotted in their natural habitat.
The average temperature fluctuates between the -15º C in the nights and 5ºC in day time.
Polloquere thermal waters are recommended for therapeutical purposes on reumatism, back aches, among other illnesses. With an average temperature of 66º C , the waters can enjoyed in this hot spring in the several thermal water pools, bathtubs and steam room availables.
The Polloquere hot spring counts with two camping sites located at 16 kms from the CONAF office.

View of lagoons and salt flat was really awesome. Clicked lots of pics there. Mucomucone is just on the banks of Mucomucone River. Lovely place. But the way to it is bit tough. All muddy and sand. Isluga volcano sounds like good place but didn’t knew about it earlier.
