From Santa Cruz, an interesting stroll is the route to the house San José Museum of the Carmen of the Huique (casa Museo San José del Carmen de El Huique). This is the only supervisory house in Chile – opened to the public that can show all the original decoration. In its interior yard the aromatic palms and shrubs abound. It emphasizes figures of little animals in ceramics that climb up the trunks and the ceiling. Today it is a museum opened to the Public and carefully conserved.
Around this main body, there are ordered 16 patios of different sizes that gathered the different facilities and tasks from the life of the property. All the rooms and patios are decorated as traditions says. The dependencies have furniture in empire style, according to the tastes of the end of 1800 and beginnings of the 1900, emphasizing the Victorian style – named so, since it is inspired by queen Victoria of England -, that represented an austere and relatively shady taste. To a flank of the main patio is the Chapel that the fore door has a tower of 75 feet high crowning the main door that gives to the access esplanade. Its interior is of great beauty and singular decoration, where it emphasizes the religious art, lamps and balustrades of crystal that separate the Main Altar and choir. Also remembrance plates of the family members and their employees. There are masses Sundays and in religious celebrations 11:30 hours.

This one is my favorites. Its a dream of mine to visit a wine farm to see how the great drink is made. I would love to see people crushing grapes with their feet. Even the wine yards have their own beauty to offer. It would be the first museum that I would love to visit. I can miss any place to visit my dream place. I can’t imagine how good it would feel like standing in a wine yard.

A heaven on earth! For sure. Just imagine a ride through wine orchids. Till the limits of my eyes, all I saw was multitudes of colors and colors. The tourism department has done a tremendous job and allow liberties to the best of their abilities. I am no connoisseur of wines, but I could bet my life on the fact that the product from the little beautiful crops can be nothing other than top quality. And it didn’t take me long to confirm my beliefs.
