I am also a foreign student, but in Brasil.My mother had the same fears with me when i decided to move to Sao Paulo for a semester. But after reading a paper she submitted for a scholarship program, I knew how much this ment to her and I had NO Choice but to let her spread her wings and fly. I now do not regret letting her venture off to Chile alone as these past two month she has experimented and seen more than I ever will in my life time. I want her to travel the world if thats what she chooses to do. She is so eager to meet new people( something she gets from me! ) and I only wish her the best in what ever she does. Although its hard not seeing her for months at a time, we are still in touch through most of the week which now have turned into months. I'm looking forward to her coming home in July to share with the family everything she has accomplished in the short 6 months she has been gone. Thanks for sharing her blog with others. Hopefully she will inspire others to become insternational students abroad. I couldnt be more proud of my daughter. What a life! Roxanne Megans mom!
