Rano Kau in Easter Island or Isla de Pascua

The Island of Rapa Nui or Easter Island is 6 hours by plain flying  from Santiago. It is a remote island which history still captive and wonder to historians and the world in general. Its enigmatic statues made of volcano stone, calls Moais, are located in the entire Island, generally on platforms that are called “Ahu”. Given the volcanic nature of the Easter Island diverse caverns and quarries can be found from where the Moais were born. Places of great importance by its beauty and mystery in the Island are the Ahú de Vaihú, Orongo and the ceremonial city, the cave of Ana Kai Tangata, Volcano Rano Kau and the Ahu Akivi, where are 7 moais oriented in relation to the equinoxes.

Day 1 Easter Island

Arrival to the Airport of Mataveri. Reception with flowers necklace in the Airport and regular transfer to the hotel of your choice. Lodging in the Hotel.

Day 2 Easter Island

Breakfast in the Hotel. This day, is a complete day of visits to cross the most important places of the Island. Beginning by the archaeological center of Akahanga, Volcano Rano Raraku, and the quarry of the same name, place of where was made moais. Later it is continued towards the Ahu de Tongariki, Te Pito Kura and Ngau Ngau. Lunch included picnic type in the beautiful beach of Anakena. In the evening, return to the Hotel. Lodging.

Day 3 Easter Island

Breakfast in the Hotel. In the morning, departure to visit Volcano Rano Kau and the city and ceremonial temple of Orongo, continuing to the Ahu de Vinapu and Ana Kai Tangata. Rest of the day off. Lodging in the Hotel.

Day 4 Easter Island

Breakfast in the Hotel. Departure to visit the Ahu Akivi, perhaps the more worldwide, known Ahu since there are the 7 Moais. In addition the caverns of Ana Tepahu and the Quarry of Puna Pau are visited. Return to the Hotel. Rest of day off. Lodging.

Day 5 Easter Island

Breakfast in the Hotel. Free day to enjoy the Easter Island.

Day 6 Easter Island

Breakfast in the Hotel. To determine scheduled, Departure towards the Airport to take the return flight.
