Santiago and Viña del Mar Tour

Located in the Central Valley, Santiago is the most important city of Chile, where the main estates of the Chilean Central Government are concentrated. It is a beautiful capital, where they are combined French classic architecture, baroque and colonial Spanish like in the center of Santiago, with modern poles of development, as the zones of El Bosque, Providencia and Golf. Viña del Mar on the other hand, is called “garden city “, a dynamic city in front to the sea and next to the main port of Chile: Valparaiso, Patrimony of the Humanity.

Day 1 Santiago

Arrival to the Airport of Santiago. Reception and transfer to the Hotel of your choice. Rest of the day off.

Day 2 Santiago

Breakfast in the Hotel. Half day city tour in Santiago, beginning by the colonial sector of the city, as they are the Ejercito Avenue, the O’Higgins Park, the Chile Racecourse, continuing to the downtown and knowing the Presidential Palace the Moneda, the old Palace of the Courts and the Ex- National Congress. Later, it crosses the zone to the Mapocho River and the beautiful Forest Park (Parque Forestal), the Museum of Fine Arts and the Santa Lucia Hill. Continue to Bellavista District, famous by its restaurants and the San Cristóbal Hill and the East zone, like the Vitacura Avenue, the School Military and Apoquindo. Then, return to the Hotel. Rest of the day off.

Day 3 Santiago – Viña del Mar

We will drive west approximately two hours in the direction of the coast and pass through the lush agricultural valley of Curacavi and the now famous Casablanca wine valley.  Our coastal tour will begin in Valparaiso, one of the first cities founded by the Spanish, it is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will begin our tour in the downtown sector of the port learning about the history of Valparaiso and its importance in South America trade and commerce. Spread along spectacular steep hills and splendid aging buildings we will ride the century old hillside ascensors (elevators) and walk through the Concepcion and Alegre neighborhoods. Our lunch in Valparaiso will be at the Coco Loco restaurant with its magnificent views of the harbor (or similar). After lunch, our destination will be the resort city of Viña del Mar, also known as “ciudad jardin” (city of gardens) because of its lush gardens and palm-lined boulevards.  Later, transfer to selected hotel in Viña del Mar.Accommodation.

Day 4 Viña del Mar

Breakfast in the Hotel. Day off for personal activities. Lodging.

Day 5 Viña del Mar – Santiago

Breakfast in the Hotel. In the evening, departure in private service to Santiago. Arrival and lodging in the Hotel.

Day 6 Santiago

Breakfast in the Hotel. Later, departure towards the Airport, to take your return flight.
