In less than 2 hours of flying from Punta Arenas to King George Island, the largest Island of the South Shetland Archipielago, you will be at the gates of the white continent.

From King George Island we will navigate for six days and five nights along the Antarctic Peninsula, visiting the most wonderful places and enjoying the best wildlife sites of Antarctica.

During the whole journey we will be giving different lectures to introduce and inform you about this wonderful Continent. We are sure this will be the trip of your lifetime.


Day 1             Ushuaia

The program starts in Ushuaia, the southern city in Argentina.  You have to check in from 14:00 until 16:00 at the M/V “Ocean Nova”.  After departure, the ship will start sailing Beagle channel until reaching Puerto Williams, for many the most south city in the world.  Later, continue to Cape Horn.

Day 2             Drake Passage

If the weather conditions allow it, today you will start the first zodiac navigation to visit the chilean lighthouse, locate at Cape Horn.  Later, the ship will start the navigation through the famous Drake Passage.

Day 3             Drake Passage

During the navigation that takes around 48 hours, you will have the chance of watching wildlife as the petrels or Albatrosses birds.

Day 4             South Shetland Islands

Today probably during the morning you will pass the “Antarctic Convergence” to start sailing the Antarctic Ocean.  Also, during the afternoon, there will be a land excursion to visit a Colony of Penguins, located at South Shetland Islands.

Day 5             King George Island

Land excursion to visit Frei Base, a Chilean Base and also Belligshausen Base, that belong to Russia.  Later, transfer to the aerodrome to take your flight to Punta Arenas.  Arrive in Punta Arenas and transfer to the Airport of the city.  End of our services.

Excursions and programs describes in this itinerary can normally be carried out.  However, without prejudice to the aforesaid, the Company reserve the right to reschedule shorten or alter all or part of itineraries and/or excursions without previous notice, in order to safeguard the well being and safety of passengers, preserve the environment or due to the extraordinary circumstances, acts of god or force major. In view of the same reasons, the hours of departure or arrival of the vessels may be subject to change.

Cancellation Policies

If after confirming the cruise reservation, passengers need to cancel the service, our company will charge the following amounts, according the dates prior to cruise departure.  All cancellations must be sent via email to our office.  We consider “working days”:
